Shirley E. Doster

Shirley E. Doster, 77, Jonestown, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was born in Lebanon on April 7, 1935, daughter of the late Chester J. Sherman and Hilda M. Fake Sherman.
She was a 1953 graduate of Lebanon High School. Shirley enjoyed decorating, gardening, bus trips to the sea shore and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.
She is survived by children, Lynn M., husband of Lynette Doster, Lebanon; Pamela J. wife of James Brower, Jr., Lebanon; Jill M., wife of Tim Fritz, Harrisburg; Bradley L. Doster, Jonestown; 6 grandsons; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Richard B. Sherman, Sebring, FL and sister, Marilyn L. Hartman, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by brother, Chester J. Sherman, Jr.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Shirley's memorial services Friday, June 22, 2012 at 7 PM from Ruffner-Porterfield Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr., (next to Quentin Circle), Lebanon with Rev. Barry S. Kendall officiating. Friends will be received beginning at 6:00 PM to time of services from the funeral home.
