Josephine F. Rank

Josephine F. Rank, 92, formerly of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.
She was born in Lebanon, PA, on July 16, 1919, the daughter of the late Homer and Melinda Sechrist Fegan. She was pre deceased by her husband Harry Rank.
After graduating from Lebanon High School, she was an operator at The Bell Telephone Co. and later a clerk at the A&P Store. She was a member of Tabor United Church of Christ, Lebanon. She was very active at the Lebanon Senior Center, enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is the loving Mother of son, David L Rank., and wife Barbara, Fayetteville; daughters, Linda R. Shakespeare, wife of Terry, Grantville, and Anita L. Osman, wife of James Gregory, Etters; grandchildren, Douglas Rank, Emily Rank, Eron Osman, Kylie Osman, Linsey Shakespeare; great grandchildren, Ethan Jacobs, Lillian Rank, Annabelle Rank; brother, Joseph, husband of Madeline Fegan, Fredericksburg and sister in law, Marian Nix, Sonora, TX.; 6 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Grant Fegan.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Josephine's funeral services on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Ruffner-Porterfield Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd. 890 Isabel Dr., (next to Quentin Circle), Lebanon with Rev. Bradley Walmer officiating. A viewing will be held Thursday beginning at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Josephine's memory may be made to the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg, 4000 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
