Grace M. Tom Obituary

Grace M. Tom, 91, Cornwall, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late C.F. Joseph Tom who passed away in 2004. Grace was born in Chicago, IL on June 11, 1926, daughter of the late Hong Moy and the late Florence Chan Moy.
She received her BA in Education in 1946 from Chicago Teachers College and taught for 2 years in the Chicago School District followed by 23 years in the Annville-Cleona School District. Grace was a member of Annville United Methodist Church, NEA, Lebanon County Educational Honor Society, PASR, Annville Home Study Circle and a former member of the Chicago Piano Symphony Orchestra.
Grace is survived by her sons, Jonathan C., husband of Sally Liska of Hyattsville, MD, and Stephen C., husband of Mi-Ang Tom of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Jennifer Marie, wife of Steven St. Marie, Joseph Charles, husband of Sueanne Tom, Gregory Tom, Michelle, wife of Jonas Gamso, and Matthew Tom; and great-grandchildren, Vincent, Dominic, Gabriel, Thaddeus and Stephanie St. Marie. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Moy, her brothers Paul and Philip Moy.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Grace's memorial service Friday, October 20, 2017, at 10:30 AM at the Zerr Chapel of Cornwall Manor, One Boyd St., Cornwall, PA 17016. Grace will be interred in Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Memorial contributions in Grace's memory may be made to Cornwall Manor Benevolent Fund, P.O. Box 125, Cornwall, PA 17016.
