Shirley Carl Rothenberg, 95, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Julius Rothenberg. Shirley was born in Philadelphia on September 26, 1922, only child of Abe and Elizabeth Chaitt Carl.
Shirley was a graduate of Lebanon Valley College and the proud owner of Logan's Dress Shop in Lebanon. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel, Lebanon, where she was a member of the Sisterhood and Hadassah. Shirley's greatest joy was spending time with her family and her work and customers at the dress shop.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Deborah Rothenberg, wife of David Cammel of Denver, CO, grandchildren, Daniel Koch of Lebanon, Jessie, wife of David Kolodney of Knoxville TN and great grandson Elliot William Kolodney of Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by a daughter Vicki Koch.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Shirley's graveside service on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, E. Maple St., Lebanon, with Rabbi Louis Zivic officiating.
