Rebecca "Becca" Lynn Miller, 17, of Pequea died unexpectedly Monday evening January 30, 2017 in Martic Township. Born in Lancaster on October 2, 1999, she was the daughter of Norman S. Miller, Jr. and Stacy L. Hershey Miller.
Becca was a junior at Penn Manor High School. She loved animals and was looking forward to attending Willow Street CTC for Veterinary Tech next year. Becca was a member of FFA, former bowler with the Penn Manor Bowling Team and was actively pursuing her dream of being a firefighter for a volunteer department. Becca was currently employed as a cashier at Willow Street Kmart.
Becca had the biggest heart and was there for everyone. She was fun, enjoyed drawing, country music and shooting guns.
Becca is survived by her father, Norm of Quarryville; her mother, Stacy, companion of Owen Sauder of Pequea; sister, Marissa L. Hershey of Pequea; paternal grandparents, Norman and Beverly Miller of Conestoga; maternal grandfather, Lewis Hershey of Conestoga and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Becca's funeral services on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 1:30PM from the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 3225 Main Street, Conestoga, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11:30AM to 1:30PM on Monday. Interment will be held in the Conestoga Memorial Park. Please omit flowers, memorial remembrances may be made in Becca's memory to Humane League of Lancaster County.
