Paul E. "Pat" Lynch, Jr., 78 of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, formerly of Myerstown, passed away Wednesday February 1, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Elaine L. Umberger Lynch. Pat was born in Lebanon on August 8, 1938, son of the late Paul e, Sr and Gladys Whitman Lynch.
Pat was a Navy Veteran, serving during peacetime as a sonar tech. He retired as a warehouseman from AWI and had also worked at Lebanon Country Club, Boscov's Sporting Department, Park Silk and Berkshire Knitting Mill. Pat was a Little League coach for many years and the Christian Service Brigade. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Iona where he had taught Sunday school.
In addition to his wife he is survived by children Kathleen, wife of James Kincaid of Mechanicsburg, Richard, husband of Lorraine Lynch of Piscataway , NJ, Patrick, husband of Sherri Lynch of Martinsburg, Neal Lynch of Palmyra, Timothy, husband of Jodi Lynch of Myerstown, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister Lorraine, wife of Roger Felty of Lebanon, brothers William, husband of Gail Lynch of Palmyra and Michael, husband of Madelyn Lynch of Myerstown. Pat was preceded in death by a great grandson Benjamin Wyatt Lynch and brothers Ronald and Edward Lynch.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Pat's memorial service on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM from Zion UM Church of Iona, 1920 S. 5th Ave, Lebanon. Friends will be received Friday beginning at 9:00 AM to time of service at the church. Private family interment will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in Pat's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
