Miriam Cruz, 39, of Lancaster passed away with her family by her side on Sunday morning, July 17, 2016 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy, PA. Born in Lancaster on January 26, 1977, she was the daughter of the late William Cruz and Carmen Maldonado of Lancaster.
Miriam graduated from Conestoga Valley High School. She was a medical assistant at Evergreen Estates Retirement Community prior to her illness. She loved to shop, get her hair and nails done and enjoyed listening to christian music.
Miriam is survived by her mother Carmen and step father, Alex Maldonado; son, Steven Feliciano; daughters, Shanice Jones and Carolyn Cintron, all of Lancaster; sister, Carmen Cruz and brothers, William Cruz, Alex, David, and Daniel Maldonado.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Miriam's funeral services on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11AM from First Spanish Assembly of God, 626 S. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA with Pastor Ramos officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6-8PM and from 10-11AM Thursday at the church. Interment will be held in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery.
