Margery G. Feitig, 67, Spring Hill Acres, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at her residence. She was the wife of John R. Feitig whom she married on Columbus Day weekend October 12, 1974 in Madison CT. Margery was born in Meriden, CT on July 18, 1949, daughter of Elliott A. and Virginia Miller Gardner. She grew up in Clinton, CT
She was a graduate of Cedar Crest College, Allentown, PA and was a Kindergarten Teacher for the Palmyra Area School District at the Pine Street Elementary School. Margery was a member of PSERS, Cornwall Iron Furnace Associates, Lebanon County Historical Society and working at Teachers Centers. She enjoyed gardening, collecting toys, especially Hess Trucks, loved to read, especially Mystery Novels, Broadway Musicals, watching Law & Order on TV and spending time at the family's cottage on the Long Island Sound where she collected shells and sea glass.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her sister Lucille Gardner, of East Haddam, CT.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Margery's memorial service on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:30 PM from Quentin United Church of Christ, at the corner 419 and 72, Quentin, PA. Family request in lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in Margery's memory may be made to Lebanon First Aid & Safety Patrol, 257 S. 11th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042 OR the Cornwall Police Department (marked as In Memory of Margery G.
