Linda D.Shopf, 67 of Conestoga passed away at her home away from home in Lycoming County on November 16, 2016. Born in Muncy, PA on April 16, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret Hacker Ball. She was the wife of Ronald L. Shopf who she married on April 4, 1997.
Linda retired in 1999 from Case New Holland where she was an assembler. She was a hard worker all of her life. Linda would do anything for anybody and loved her 4 legged kids. She loved the mountains and her cabin. She loved planting flowers, making cookies and doing crafts.
In addition to her husband, Ronnie, Linda is survived by her daughter, Rebecca A. Hemperly of Conestoga; her son, Scott L., husband of Jennifer Heffley of Eaton, Colorado; granddaughters, Star, Montana and Autumn Hemperly and Julianna and Sara Heffley; grandson, Justin Heffley. She is also survived by sisters, Vickie Giffing of Williamsport, Mary Snook of Conestoga, Janet and Ruthie and twin step daughters, Jesse L. Shopf wife of Robert Basselgia and Jodie L., wife of Daniel Kalbach, both of Conestoga and step granddaughter, Claire Kalbach.
In keeping with Linda's wishes, she will be laid to rest in Lycoming county and all services will be private. Memorial remembrances may be made in Linda's memory to Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Hwy E., Lancaster, PA 17602.
