Jeff E. Harris, 56, of Willow Street passed away at Hospice & Community Care Sunday morning, December 17, 2017 with his wife by his bedside. Born on February 16, 1961 in Eustis, FL, he was the son of the late Carl and Jeanne Ella Mae Harrison Harris. Jeff was the husband of Michele A. Kramer Harris with who he married on July 2, 2005.
Jeff was a self employed painter working until his illness prevented him from doing so. He had worked in landscaping also. Jeff was a huge Washington Redskins Fan. He enjoyed Penn State football and camping.
In addition to his wife, Shelly, Jeff is survived by his daughter, Amanda M., wife of Anthony Curtosi of Lancaster; his son Derek A. Kramer of Willow Street; his grandchildren which he loved and adored, Ashleigh Erb, Trenton Kramer, Bella and Vincent Curtosi. He is also survived by his brother, John Harris of Lancaster and his sister, Theresa "Terry" Duvall of Delaware.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Hospice & Community Care for the extraordinary care given to Jeff.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jeff's Memorial Service on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11AM from the First Assembly of God Church, 1025 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster with Pastor Mark Trimble officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11AM. Interment will be held in the Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Please omit flowers, memorial remembrances may be made in Jeff's memory to Hospice & Community Care or to the Lancaster First Assembly of God Church.
