Helen M. Sigman, 73 of Main Street, Conestoga passed away on Monday morning, September 19, 2016 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, PA with Bob, her husband of 53 years beside her.
Born in Lancaster on December 27, 1942, Helen was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret Heisler Turner. She married Robert W. Sigman on March 30, 1963.
Helen had worked earlier in her life at the Balloon Factory in Conestoga and then for Donnelly Printing in Lancaster. She enjoyed helping people and as a good cook she enjoyed sharing her meals with her neighbors. Her and Bob enjoyed going out to eat.
She was a loving wife to Bob, who survives her; nephew Lloyd Herr, III husband of Jamie of Mountville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward N. Turner, Sr. and sisters, Joanne Herr and Bonnie Stretch.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen's Funeral Service on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11AM from the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, The Gundel Chapel, 3225 Main Street, Conestoga, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11AM. Interment will be held in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster, PA. Please omit flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Hospice & Community Care.
