Helen M. Ceresini, 87, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at ManorCare Health Care Services Lebanon. She was the wife of Carl L. Ceresini to whom she was married for 66 years, having married on May 5, 1951. Helen was born in Swatara Twp. on May 4, 1930 daughter of the late George Reese and LuLu Lightner Hoffman.
Helen was a 1950 graduate of Annville High School. She retired in 1988 from Hershey Foods Reese's Plant after 25 years of service. Helen was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, Annville and attended St. Phillips Church, Lancaster. Helen and Carl had lived in Tucson, AZ from 1988 to 2008 before moving back to Lancaster. She enjoyed RV Traveling with her husband and reading Danielle Steele novels.
Helen was a loving wife and mother and in addition to her husband, Carl, is survived by a son, Cory L. Ceresini of Tucson, AZ, daughters, Rita M., wife of Gary Garson of Manheim, Debra A. Carpenter Madden, wife of Kevin Madden of Annville, Connie L., wife of Michael Kauffman of Millsboro, DE, grandchildren, Kevin, Kim, Shannon, Rachel, Travis, Emily great grandchildren, Gavyn, Christopher, Conner, Jayda and Raige. Helen was preceded in death by sisters, Bryl Michael, Sara Wagner, brothers, Alfred, James, Chalmer and George Hoffman.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen's Mass of Christian Burial from St. Paul the Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM to time of Mass at the church. Interment will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in Helen's memory may be made to The Lebanon Valley home of the UCC, 550 Main St., Annville, PA 17003 or American Cancer Society Lebanon County Chapter, 855 Tuck St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
