Donna L. Erisman, 62, of New Providence passed away at home Friday afternoon, July 1, 2016. Born in Lancaster on January 7, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. Rhoads and Doris Y. Caldwell of Strasburg. She was the wife of John H. Erisman.
Donna had worked as a laborer for Carolina Logistics and also for Lynnbrook Apartments. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and she loved animals, especially her dog "Tank". Earlier in life, she had fun going to the beach, camping and boating.
Surviving in addition to her husband John and mother, Doris and step father, George Caldwell is her step mother, Cynthia "Sis" Rhoads of Willow Street; son, Jon D. Erisman; sisters, Mary Y. wife of Bruce Campbell of Conestoga, Deborah A. wife of Edward Brackbill of Willow Street and Susan Sload of Strasburg; brother, Robert M. Sload, Jr. of Lancaster, along with aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Donna's Funeral Services on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11AM from the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, The Gundel Chapel, 3225 Main Street, Conestoga, PA with Pastor Jody Sambrick officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday. Interment will be held in the Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. Please omit flowers. Memorial Remembrances may be made in Donna's memory to Hospice and Community Care.
