Alexander "Alex" David Osborne, 18, of North Cornwall Twp., Lebanon passed away suddenly at his home Thursday morning, February 23, 2017, just 3 days shy of his 19th birthday.

Born in Philadelphia on February 26, 1998 he was the son of David J. and Julie R. McConahy Osborne. Alex graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 2016 and attended Temple University this past fall.

Alex worked with his parents at their UPS store on Quentin Road and had formerly worked as a cart boy for Lebanon Country Club. He attended Church of the Good Shepard. While at Cedar Crest he was a member of the Young Republican Club, played Lacrosse and lettered playing Tennis.

Alex wanted to be an entrepreneur in business. He had a creative and imaginative mind, creating digital music composition. He loved animals especially his dog, Charlie, cat, Boo and turtle, Snappy.

Alex had a great smile, beautiful laugh, kind hearted, always putting others first. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Dave and Julie; brother Nicholas J., husband of Jean Steele of Pittsburgh; maternal grandparents, Harold E. and Doloris McConahy of Martinsburg, PA and his paternal grandfather, Stephen F. Osborne of Doylestown, PA. He enjoyed time spent with his aunt, Michele wife of Scott Devens; uncles, Stephen Osborne, Jr., Patrick, husband of Tracey Osborne and Trevor McConahy; cousins, Leah, Casey, Danielle, Christine, Samantha, Emily, Johnathan, Luke, Ben and Anna. Alex was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marion S. Osborne and aunt, Sandra McConahy.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Alex's funeral service on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1PM with Pastor Alan Smith officiating from the Church of the Good Shepard, 1500 Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 11AM-1PM and on Friday evening, March 3 from 6-8PM at Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon, PA. Interment will be made in the Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg, PA.
