Tribute & Message From The Family

Mr. Craig A. Mickel, 67, of Lancaster, went to be with our Lord on Dec. 22, 2017. He was looking forward to being reunited with his beloved wife, Susie, in Heaven. Susan had preceded him in death in January of 2017. Craig was also looking forward to being reunited with his dearly missed son, Travis A. Mickel, who passed in 2004.
Mick was born on Nov. 25, 1950 in Altoona, PA, son of the late Bernard D. Mickel and Ann Dambeck Mickel of Lititz. He graduated from LCHS in 1968 and married at St. Anne's Catholic Church. He was a mechanic at Armstrong World Industries for close to 30 years.

Mick loved to ride his Harley with his wife and many treasured friends. Spending time with his grandchildren was very important to Craig.

Mick will be dearly missed by his mother, Ann; daughter, Tonya L. wife of David J. Stofflet of Mt. Joy; and his beloved eight grandchildren. He also is survived by his sister, Deborah Fuss, of Ephrata. Craig was preceded in death by his son, Travis, as well as his brother, Kirk Mickel.

As a token to Craig, his daughter asks to please perform an act of kindness to another person. She also respectfully requests to live each day to the fullest, in honor and memory of her father.

Condolence & Memory Journal

May Craig's memory be eternal.

Sincerely, Joe & Melanie

My heart broke this morning when I opened the local newspaper. Craig is one of the nicest persons I have ever known. May he now rest in peace. My thoughts go out to the family. God Bless you all !!

I was so sad to hear Craig had passed. I will miss talking to him on the phone every week and sharing all the memories of when we were kids. All the laughs we had trying to cheer each other up these last several months trying to cheer each other up as we both went through our own medical procedures. But I know he and Sue are now together and are also with Travis and are smiling on all of us still here. I am sure they will help us all carry on and as we remember them, they will help us all be better people and be kinder to each other and make each day count. They were a special couple and we were all blessed to have had them in our lives. I will miss Craig as I also miss Sue but I am happy they are now back together and happy. God Bless and I miss you.
