Condolence & Memory Journal

Thoughts of Joanne will always bring delightful memories of time spent together, whether travelling to Florida, Williamsburg, Missouri, or just sharing a meal on the deck by the water. She always has great stories to share as well as gifts of her skilled craftsmanship. I love her dearly and will always hold her in my heart.

I am a friend of Joanne's daughter Karen. I only met Joanne once, but I remember how warm and welcoming she was. Seeing the kindness and love of God and humans that Karen has is a testament to the kind of woman that Joanne was. Hoping that her family finds peace and comfort during this trying time.

I grew up with Karen, spent a lot of time at her house on Clearview Drive. Fond memories of her mom who always called me Mickey even as an adult. Sending healing thoughts and prayers to Karen, Ginger and their families.

I am so very saddened by the passing of Joanne, who remained very stoic considering all that she had endured. Joanne's daughter Karen is married to my brother Jeff. I just wanted to say that it is a testament to the type of person that Joanne had to be, to have raised the kind of daughter that she had raised in Karen. I can truly say that I have never met a more selfless person in all of my life. I know that Joanne is in her eternal home in Heaven now, and I know that she is in peace because of that. I pray that her family will be comforted by that knowledge.
