Next tot the fack that Les was a respectful and well known family-member from the USA, he was the one who introduced the card game SPADES in The Netherlands. Since than this game became famous in Holland by thousands of Dutchmen who got addicted to this game. Each time when we play this game with new players they ask us how we came to this game. We than tell them that it was introduced here by our brother in law Lesly Craig who was once in The Netherlands to serve the US-army.

Les was such a wonderful guy and a fantastic next-door neighbor of my parents. I will never forget the kindness he showed them, especially when my dad was having serious health problems. Les was always there to take care of them and brought them meals on numerous occasions. We will miss him terribly!

My sincere condolences to Mary Ann and the family.

I remember as a child many visits with Les's Mom and Dad and siblings. Upon retiring it was always a pleasure to be able to meet up and play golf with him. He always smiled and never got angry if having a bad round. The jokes always there. I will miss the birthday calls...we shared the same birth day. He was a wonderful man and cousin loved by many and will be greatly missed.

I think of Les as a true Southern Gentleman. Very polite and very proper especially when he was taking your money at the poker table.
Mary Ann I am so sorry for your family's loss. He will truly be missed...
