My haert goes out to the Mercado fam. Great men of God i still remember his first message speaking about not to sell your inheritance and the importance of believing the word of God. His humbleness really made the difference.

To the saints in Lancaster,
I'm currently on a mission trip overseas but my heart is there with you during this time of the passing of our dear brother Reverend Mercardo. I express my love and prayer support for the family and Spanish churches in Lancaster.
My heart is moved greatly as I reflect on the life and passing of the humble servant of God.
After my wife and I left our Amish culture in 1987, I occasionally visited the church that Reverend Mercardo was pastoring. My heart is inspired as I reflect on the impact that Pastor Daniel and the Spanish Pentecostal church has had upon my life. I will always remember how the Holy Ghost moved and I saw the Pentecost power in the church. The prayers and worship in the church have had a very positive impact in my personal life.
The prayers of this humble man of God are still before the throne of our great God. His prayers are perhaps a very great part of the reason that the glory of Jesus Christ will increase more and more over Lancaster.
Keep pressing forward. Our God will be faithful and we will see His glory in our city.

The Pastoral Family Yanez would like to extent our condolences to the Mercado family . Our prayers are with you in this time of sorrow but knowing that he there with our Lord.

Rev. Mercado married us back in November 16, 1996 he came all the way from Dunkirk NY to Lancaster PA to married us off. A promise he made me(Edna) when I was a member and a youth at his church. He made it special for us and bless us with his presence at our wedding.
